HUBUNGAN FAKTOR RISIKO PADA DIABETES MELITUS TERHADAP DERAJAT NEUROPATI DIABETIK PADA KELOMPOK PERSADIA RSI AMAL SEHAT SRAGEN
Abstract
Background : Diabetes is a chronic disease which happened when pancreas
produces insulin less than needed or when its used by the body ineffectively.
Epidemiologycally, in 2030 the prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) in
indonesia will reach 21,3 million of people. Neuropathic is a long term
complication which commonly for diabetes, it is influence around 50% of
diabetic. The main factor of the reason neuropathic is from the duration and either
the degree of hyperglicemia, dyslipidemia, body mass index (BMI), smoke,
hypertension and height as risk factor of DPN, However, there is still a limitation
of the evidence. The aim of this study is to find out the relationship of Risk factor
of Dibaetes Mellitus toward the degree of neuropathic diabetic from the group of
PERSADIA RSI Amal Sehat Sragen.
Methods : Cross sectional study conducted to 66 members of PERSADIA. Data
Medical recorded were used such as; gender, wight and height to get the body
mass index (BMI), blood pressure to find out the data of its hypertension and
smoke history. Data analyzed by using kruskal wallis test and chi-square to find
out the relationship between Risk factor of Dibaetes Mellitus toward the degree
of neuropathic diabetic that is BMI, hypertension and smoke history.
Result : There were 66 respondents used in this study: the result showed that 12
respondents (18,2%) have no neuropathic, 31 respondents (47%) light
neuropathic and 23 respondents (34,8%) medium neuropathic. The result from
gender showed that is woman 38 respondents (57,6%), the highest respondent
from normal BMI was 22 respondents (33,3%), the highest respondent from
normal hypertension was 38 respondents (57,6%) and the highest respondent from
no smoke history was 47 respondents (71,2%). The study showed that there was a
relationship between Risk factor of Diabetes Mellitus toward the degree of
neuropathic diabetic that was BMI (p=0,000), hypertension (p=0,000) and smoke
history (p=0,026).
Conclusion : There was a relationship of Risk Factor (BMI, hypertension, smoke
history) of Diabetes Mellitus toward the degree of neuropathic diabetic from the
group of PERSADIA RSI Amal Sehat Sragen
