      Abstract
      BPM and temperature measurement is the activity of measuring the heartbeat and body temperature to determine the patient's vital condition, The farther the patient's temperature than the normal temperature limit will affect the fast the patient's heart rate in pumping blood throughout the body. In this case, the measuring instrument of heartbeat and body temperature is equipped with data storage, as well as the presence of normal temperature indicator, hyperthermia, hypothermia on temperature measurement and normal BPM, bradycardia and tachycardia on BPM measurement. As for this measurement is done in adult patients (20 -> 40 years). In this study the authors use finger sensor built using infrared LED as transmitter and photodiode as receiver, LM35 as temperature sensor and LCD as output. This module using microcontroller ATMega8 as control system. Measurements were made to 20 people with 3 conditions of 5 times and the smallest error value for BPM measurement was 0.17%, and the biggest BPM error was 1.01%, while the smallest body temperature error 0.05% and the largest body temperature error of 0.98%.
