This study aims to determine the contract used in fishing pond “Pak Yadi” Yogyakarta and know the implementation of the contract that occurred in the fishing pond. The object of this research is fishing pond “Pak Yadi” Yogyakarta. This type of research is qualitative research with qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Sources of data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from the result of the research through observation, documentation and interview. While secondary data obtained from documents from the fishing pond and other sources related to research. The results of his research indicate that there are two contracts used in this fishing pond which are sale and purchase contract and lease contract. For the conformity of these contracts in the fishing pond that is initially included into the buying an selling of ghairu shahih because it contains the elements of maisir (gambling), but after seeing the re-calculation of the catch fish obtained by the owner of the pond then this sale and purchase included into the sale and purchase of shahih (allowed).
