dc.descriptionCivil servants in government agencies consider the mutation as an unattractive matter, especially if by doing the mutation causes the employee to be separated with his family. The mutation program applied by BPK RI to its auditor is mutation of work location and/or residence with the same position and department or different ones (promotion). In 2007 the BPK RI representative office began to spread all over provinces in Indonesia. This certainly affects the mutation policy in BPK RI. Implementation of mutations for BPK employees is very influential on the level of job satisfaction. If by mutation make BPK employees become dissatisfied, it will affect it performance which will affect their work result. Some problems that arise in the mutation system applied by the BPK RI include: discomfort, always worried, do not feel the existence of justice, fear separated from the family up to the financial problems if must undergo a mutation. These issues encourage some employees to move to another agency or organization that provides more workplace security coverage despite the risk of diminishing the income they receive. The method used in this research is descriptive method of analysis, that is method which aims to describe the actual situation with respect to the problem material about the variables studied, the primary data collection techniques obtained from the interview, and observation which is direct observation on activities in the field, while Secondary data obtained from reference books, papers, lecture materials related to research conducted by the author. Tests conducted by conducting interviews with parties directly responsible for the mutation business process in BPK RI and employees who have experienced mutation directly. Based on the analysis of the interview and the analysis of the mutation policy in BPK RI and it is known that most BPK RI employees experienced dissatisfaction if the mutation was done without the promotionen_US
