dc.descriptionPenelitian ini meneliti tentang strategi media relations pondok pesantren modern Islam Assalaam Surakarta, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi media relations sebuah pondok pesantren dalam meningkatkan minat pendaftar peserta didik, kerangka teori yang dibahas oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai media relations baik strategi, dan praktik, kemudia peneliti juga membahas mengenai media relations di pondok pesantren, citra dan minat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian ini ialah di Pondok Pesantren Modern Islam Assalaam Surakarta. Sumber data penelitian ini berasal dari hasil wawancara peneliti dengan beberapa informal internal maupun eksternal, peeneliti juga menggunakan studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Untuk menguji validitas data, peneliti menggunakan triangulasi sumber, yaitu dengan membandingkan hasil wawancara informan dengan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa strategi media relations pondok pesantren modern Islam Assalaam sudah baik namun belum sepenuhnya berhasil dalam meningkatkan minat daftar peserta didik, selain karena beberapa kegiatan belum berjalan secara efektif, hasil dari program tersebut juga tidak terlalu mempengaruhi naik dan turunya jumlah pendaftar di setiap tahunya, karena peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa di beberapa situasi media relations dapat menjadi pilihan program untuk meningkatkan minat peserta didik, namun banyak hal hal lainya juga yang dapat mempengaruhi naik dan turunya pendaftar di PPMI Assalaam.en_US
dc.description.abstractABSTRAK University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Department of Communication Studies Concentration Public Relations Fina Fauziyah Media Relations Strategy in Increasing Number of Students in Islamic Boarding School of Assalaam Surakarta Period 2005-2015 Year Thesis: 2016 + xii + page + attachment + 9 Images Library list: 20 Books + 3 Online Journals + 4 Internet Sources This research examines about the media relations strategy of Islamic boarding school of Assalaam Surakarta, the purpose of this research is to find out how media relations strategy of a boarding school in improving the interest of applicant learners, the theoretical framework discussed by the researchers in this research is about media relations strategy , and practice, then the researchers also discuss about media relations in boarding school, image and interest. The research method used is qualitative research method with qualitative descriptive type. The location of this research is in Pondok Pesantren Modern Islam Assalaam Surakarta. Sources of research data is derived from the results of interview researchers with some informal internal and external, researcher also use literature and documentation. To test the validity of the data, the researcher uses triangulation of source, that is by comparing the result of interview of informant with document related to research. The results of this study indicate that media relations strategy Islamic boarding school of Assalaam has been good but not yet fully successful in increasing interest list of learners, in addition because some activities have not run effectively, the results of the program is also not too affect the rise and decrease the number of registrants in each because the researcher concludes that in some situations media relations can be a choice of programs to increase the interest of learners, but many other things that can also affect the rise and fall of applicants in PPMI Assalaam.en_US
