STUDI PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI, INDEKS PEMBANGUNAN MANUSIA, UPAH MINIMUM DAN INFLASI
Abstract
Special region of Yogyakarta is a region that has the highest poverty rate among other provinces in Java Island. Whereas, Java Island is the economy center in Indonesia which has better infrastructure compared to other areas outside Java Island. This research was aimed to analyze effects of economic growth, human development index, inflation and minimum wage on poverty level in special region of Yogyakarta in the year of 2011-2016. The objects of the research were districts/cities in special region of Yogyakarta. Regression of panel data, classic assumption test, and hypothesis testing were used in this research as the research method. The findings of the research indicate that the economic growth has no significant and positive effect on the poverty level, while human development index has significant and negative effect on the poverty level, minimum wage has signifikan and positive effect on the poverty level. In addition, inflation has both significant and negative effect on the poverty level.
