The research is aim to find out the factors that influencing corn production and to understand the efficiency of production factor utilizing toward corn-farming in District Poncosari. Research is located in District Poncosari, Sub-District Srandakan, Regency of Bantul using purposive. Four areas are taken i.e Bayuran, Wonitingal, Polosiyo, and Besole. As much as 10 respondents are taken from those areas respectively and collecting 40 respondents. The data are collected by questionary technique and interviewing method. Researcher will analyze the data using Cobb-Douglas production function model. The result shows production factors such as farm land, seed, urea, phonska, herbicide, family-farm labor and non-family-farm labor obviously influencing the corn-production, meanwhile production factors that giving real effect towards corn production partially are field production factor and non-family farm labour. Utilizing of farm land production factors toward corn farming in District Poncosari are not efficient yet while the non-family-farm labor production factor showed efficient.
