UNJUK KERJA MOTOR BENSIN BERBAHAN BAKAR PERTALITE DAN PYROLYTIC OIL DARI CAMPURAN CANGKANG SAWIT DAN PLASTIK LDPE BERKATALIS CaO
Abstract
This research is intended to examine experimentally the effect of using variations of pyrolysis oil mixed with Pertalite to torque, power and fuel consumption of Honda Beat motorcycles 110cc. The pyrolysis oil is mixed with Pertalite with percentage volume of pyrolytic oil; 0%, 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%. The method that used in this research is to use dynotest tool kit and fuel consumption test. Parameters measured are torque, power and fuel consumption. The results of the research show that pure pertalite produce the highest torque and power compared among pyrolytic oil variations. This is due to the viscosity value of pure pertalite. While the lowest fuel consumption is in variation of 70% vol. pertalite and 30% vol Pyrolytic Oil which results in fuel consumption is 41,66 km/l with fuel consumption saving nearly double than pure pertalite.
