The aims of the study were to determine the dominant production factors and make improvements to increase the production of red chili peppers. The research was conducted in Dusun Bugel, Panjatan District, Kulon Progo Regency from September to December 2017. This research was carried out using the survey method by collecting data from 48 respondents of Gisik Pranaji Farmer Group and 49 respondents of Gisik Wanatara Farmer Group. The data include organic fertilizer, N fertilizer, P fertilizer, K fertilizer, and plant spacing. The collected data were analyzed by linear and quadratic regression using Cobb-Douglas function model. Results showed that all factors of production except plant spacing affect the red chili pepper production. Moreover, the highest level impact of production factor was organic fertilizer, therefore, to increase the production of red pepper required the selection of organic fertilizer and addition the time between the giving organic fertilizer on the land with planting rep pepper
