EFEKTIFITAS LISOZIM PADA PENURUNAN KADAR HAMBAT MINIMUM SEFADROKSIL TERHADAP (Staphylococcus Aureus)
Abstract
Staphylococcus aureus is a bacteria that is distributed globally and
potentially cause serious and fatal diseases. Cefadroxil is an antibiotic
cephalosporin β-Lactam first class that works by inhibiting the synthesis of the
cell wall of bacteria and are also often used to treat urinary tract infections,
pharyngitis and tonsillitis. Lysozyme is an enzyme that can kill certain bacteria,
this enzyme works by lysing the bacterial cell wall. To determine the effect of lysozyme on the minimal inhibitory
concentration cefadroxil against Staphylococcus aureus.This study was purely experimental laboratory. This study using cultured
bacteria Staphylococcus aureus diikubasi with cefadroxil and sefadriksil
combination with lysozyme in different concentrations of the biggest to the
smallest for 18-24 hours in a temperature of 37ºC, used as a control tube 9th
control (-) and 10th control (+). Test of antibacterial power using liquid dilution
method. Test statistical analysis using Mann Whitney test.Based on research in KHM get cefadroxil 41,66μg / ml and MIC
combination of cefadroxil with lysozyme 9,718μg / ml, with the Mann Whitney test
obtained p> 0.05, which indicates that the decline KHM cefadroxil after added
with lysozyme insignificant.
Conclusion: This study proves that lysozyme has the effect antibaktei and cefadroxil
combination with lysozyme not able to lower minimal inhibitory concentration
cefadroxil against Staphylococcus aureus.
