HUBUNGAN ANTARA INTENSITAS PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP GANGGUAN CEMAS MAHASISWA INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM OF INTERNATIONAL RELATION UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA ANGKATAN 2014
Abstract
Anxiety disorder happen in 2-4% in every life. In Indonesian
teenager occurs in 6% of the population. Lots of problem and demand that happen
in college student, can caused stress. Because of that, to solve the problem college
students need to do some efforts to prevent stress with proper coping stress. One of
the way was using social media.This research was conducted using non-experimental analitic with crosssectional
approach. Subject for this research was college students from International
Programs of International Relations in total 41 person. Analysis data using
correlation test Spearman Correlation to see the relation between the variables.
Intensity can be use as standard if they have anxiety disorder, if the intensitywas
high. Instrument that used in this research were SMUIS and DASS 42
questionnaires.The result of this research using analytic statistic Spearman rho test and
p= 0,775 with coefisien R realtion = -0.050. The conclusion of this research is there
is no relation between intensity use of social media and anxiety disorder in
International Programs of International Relations Muhammadiyah University of
Yogyakarta, class 2014. This result not supporting research hypotesis. The conclusion of this research is there is no relation between
