PENGARUH KERAPATAN DINDING SALURAN AKAR ANTARA SILER IONOMER KACA DAN RESIN EPOKSI DENGAN IRIGASI CHLORHEXIDINE GLUCONATE 2%
Abstract
Root canal wall density is a success factor in root canal treatment. The
success of root canal treatment is affected by the obturation and siler materials
used.
In general, this study aims to determine the effect of root canal density
between glass ionomer and epoxy resin with CHX 2% for irrigation.
The type of this study was clinic laboratory. The research samples used is
premolar post-extraction teeth. The samples were didived into four group with four
samples each. Group A used siler SIK and CHX 2%, group B SIK and aquades,
group C AH plus and CHX 2% and group D used AH plus and aquades. The sample
was seen for density of the root canal wall using a stereo miscroscope. The result
was analyzed by Kruskall wallis test and Post hoc Mann-whitney u test and
Independent T-test
The results of color penetration obtained siler made from SIK + irrigation
solution CHX 2% has an average of 2,339mm, SIK + Aquades have a flat -
1.061mm, AH Plus + CHX 2% has an average of 0.275 mm and AH Plus + Aquades
has an average of 0.297 mm. Result of non-parametric statistic test Kruskal Wallis
known value p = 0,000 p <0,05 (p = 0,000 <0,05) 0,000. The significance number
has a value less than the critical limit (Asymp.Sig <0.05). The conclusion is there
are differences in the density of the root canal walls using SIK type I and AH Plus
as Siler based epoxy resin with or without irrigation CHX 2%.
