Community dynamics defined as social community movements that continuously cause changes in relevant social orders. The urban agriculture is a series of activities undertaken by urban communities related with agriculture either planting, tending, harvesting, and marketing of various foodstuffs as well as various forms of livestock that utilize available lands in urban environments. This research aims to describe the background of urban agriculture activities in Kauman and describe the social structure and dynamics of the urban agriculture community in the Kauman. Respondents determination were done in purposive way or intentionally in determining informant. Background for agriculture in Kauman is started from a group of mothers members of a study group, who want agricultural activities. The social structure and dynamics inside the community in Kauman like some social groups such PKK, Recitation Sakinah, Sakinah Farmer Groups, Mesem Garbage Bank. The existing institutions are made up like economic institutions comprised of cooperatives and Mesem Garbage Banks. Government institutions consist of keep cleaning, turn off the vehicle engine, a compulsory reporting, shall recite after maghrib, dress modestly and respect. The stratification categorized as strata based on position consists of RW, RT and leader groups, based on science and wealth is non-governmental funder of agricultural activities and master hydroponik. Social mobility in Kauman like social movement status. The dynamics occurs in society seems there is additional social groups interm or urban agriculture for example Sakinah Farmer Group and Mesem Garbage Bank. There is transformation of mobility happened like ordinary society status movement becoming organizier community. In addition there is society movement in following some agriculture activities outeside the Kauman like have some meeting which held by Disperindagkoptan and the other activities which related to the agriculture. The transformation happened in urban community included in planed transformation. The process pathway of transformation happened in community urban agriculture structure in Kauman can be seen from two factor like internal factor (willing to get along and leadership) and external factor (contact with outside community and role until guidance from the Departement of agriculture Disperindagkoptan and DIY).
