PROSES PENYAMPAIAN PESAN MORAL PADA PERTUNJUKAN WAYANG KULIT DI MUSEUM NEGERI SONOBUDOYO YOGYAKARTA DALAM LAKON CERITA RAMAYANA
Abstract
This study aims to determine the process of Submission of Moral
Messages in Shadow Puppet Performances at State Museum Sonobudoyo
Yogyakarta In Ramayana Stories. The research method used in this research
is qualitative method, using approach of sociology of culture model of
Raymond Williams. The process of collecting data is done by observation,
interview, and literature study. The data obtained then grouped according to
the type and then searched the relationship between shadow Puppet
Performances and Pross Submission of Moral Message, Institution as the
organizer, shadow Puppet as performances, Dalang as the delivery of moral
message through shadow Puppet story which is shown.
This study aims to: (1) describe the form of presentation of shadow
Puppet show at the State Museum of Sonobudoyo Yogyakarta, (2) to know
the Process of Submitting Moral Messages in Shadow Puppet Performances
at State Museum of Sonobudoyo In Ramayana Stories. and (3) explain
supporting factors and inhibitors of shadow puppet show at the State
Museum of Sonobudoyo Yogyakarta. The results of this study can be seen
that there are cultural institutions (institutuion) related to the art of shadow
puppet, within the State Museum Sonobudoyo. the content of meaning and
value (content) (message norm) and the benefits (effects) perceived by the
audience, local community. Meanwhile, the form of shadow puppet show at
Sonobudoyo State Museum, covering the basic of presentation,
arrangement, Dalang, Pengrawit, and Sinden.
Furthermore, the shadow puppet art institutionalization is concerned with
who controls and how such controls are exercised. In this case, the cultural
institution is directly Sonobudoyo State Museum, while the resulting is the
