PENGARUH STABILISASI SERAT DAN SEMEN TERHADAP NILAI KUAT TEKAN BEBAS PADA TANAH COLLUVIUM
Abstract
Soil in the area of Jatimulyo, Girimulyo, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta including the type of unfavorable soil. Because when the season changes from the dry season to rainy season followed by the decline of the foundation of the house and the destruction of the highway. Therefore, the importance of efforts to stabilize the land so that the function of the land as the bearer of the load on the construction of civil buildings can be more maximal. The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of adding cement and fiber to compressive strength value on Colluvium Residue soil, with variation of cement mixture 3%, 5%, 8% and 0,4% fiber content against the dry weight of the soil for each cement variation with period treatment for 0 days up to 28 days. Tests of soil characteristics performed include specific gravity, and Atterberg limit. Mechanical testing includes compaction test and compressive strength test. In this study, the highest strength values increased with increased cement content and the addition of fiber in each cement level and the longer the curing time. Such variation of the mixture 5% C + 0,4% PF on 1 to 28 day of curing time the value of compressive strength increases by 59%. The compressive strength value on the cement mixture and the fiber is higher than the compressive strength of the cement soil. And the variation of 3% C + 0,4% PF mixture with a curing time on 1 day to 28 day reached 67%, while for 3% C obtained in 48%.
