FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEPATUHAN DIET HIPERTENSI PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS GONDOKUSUMAN I
Abstract
Background: Hypertension is a condition in which a person's blood pressure is more than 140/90 mmHg. Diet is an action or management that is very important in reducing hypertension. The incidence of hypertension at Puskesmas Gondokusuman I Yogyakarta to the first level of all health centers in Yogyakarta city from January 2017 with the number of hypertensive patients as many as 256 men and 100 women, as many as 156 patients diagnosed with hypertension. The incidence of hypertension is delivered by patients who do not seek treatment according to schedule and there are still patients whose knowledge is less related to how to control the appropriate diet for hypertensive patients. Hypertension can be controlled with a hypertensive diet program. Patient compliance to diet program is satisfaction in hypertension patient. The success of this diet diet by factors of knowledge, health support.
Objective: To find out factors related to diet management compliance in hypertensive patients at Puskesmas Gondokusuman I Yogyakarta.
Method: This type of research is non experiment with quantitative method and use descriptive correlational design with cross-sectional approach. That uses univariate and bivariate analysis. Population of hypertension patient in january 2017 amounted to 256 and samples in the study were 38 people with accidental sampling sampling technique.
Results: The chi-square test results showed a significant relationship between Knowledge (0,000), Family Support (0.004), Health Care Support (0.004) .with adherence to hypertensive diet management.
Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge, family support, support of health personnel with hypertensive diet management compliance.
Suggestion: Puskesmas are advised to increase hypertension disease management efforts by optimizing proline activities (management of chronic diseases) on hypertension management and the importance of adherence in hypertension diet.
