The aim of this research is to get the concentration of red onion extract and the long time of immersion that is suitable for root growth and bud shoot of red roses. has been implemented in Ladang Kaliurang km 23, Yogyakarta and Research Laboratory University Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. In January 2018 to March 2018. The experiment was conducted using single factor experiment method compiled in Completely Randomized Design with 3 replications. The tested treatments were 0.5%, 1% and 1.5% onion extract concentration with 10 minutes, 15 minutes and 30 minutes immersion, plus synthetic auksin (Rotoon-f) and were not treated. The results showed that cuttings in red onion extract at 1% concentration with 10 minutes of soaking time were able to grow the root number of root cuttings with the best criteria.
