Emping melinjo was one of the agroindustry products that was in great demand by the housewives, and it became one of the working choices in rural areas with the existence of emping melinjo agroindustry, it directly opened the job opportunities for the housewives. Besides, it also increased the family incomes since the women could spend their free time to work as the emping melinjo craftsmen. This research aimed and to know the working time of emping melinjo craftsmen that was dominated by the women and contribution income as the emping melinjo craftsmen for their family income in Dusun Pendul Village Gondanglegi Ambal District, Kebumen. The respondent with 52 emping melinjo craftsmen used simple random sampling method and used descriptive analysis. The result of the research showed that their working time for the economy covers on farm (usatani padi), off farm (craftsmen emping melinjo), and non farm with a total 690,08 hour /seaso. That their working time for the non economy cover kegiatan rumah tangga, sosial masyarakat and kegiatan pribadi a total 980,16 hour/seaso while the contribution of the female earnings of the emping melinjo to the total income of the family was 38.07%.
