DISKONTINUITAS PENERAPAN INOVASI SAYURAN ORGANIK DI DESA WUKIRSARI KECAMATAN CANGKRINGAN KABUPATEN SLEMAN
Abstract
Using fertilizers and chemical pesticides continuously makes organic content in the soil is low and damage the health of body. People try to apply healthy lifestyle by consuming organic vegetables. Since 2007 the opportunity has been utilized by 33 farmers of Wukirsari Village to apply organic vegetable innovation. However, currently 19 farmers experiencing discontinue in applying these innovation. Data collected from 19 respondents then analyzed by descriptive method to show discontinuity value and use rank spearman correlation to show correlation of farmer profile and reason of discontinuity innovation with level of discontinuity. The result is the level of discontinuity in applying organic vegetable innovation of 47.15% and correlation of age, education, experience, incompatibility, complexity and dissatisfaction of innovation including weak category, while on land area, income, and uncertainty of innovation including very weak category.
