PENGARUH VARIASI OLI SAMPING TERHADAP KINERJA SEPEDA MOTOR DUA LANGKAH DENGAN BAHAN BAKAR SHELL SUPER
Abstract
Two stroke motorcycles has two oils, namely oil mixture and engine oil. Oil mixture greatly affects the performance of the engine (power, torque, fuel consumption) because the oil mixture will burn with the air-fuel in the combustion chamber. In addition, fuel also affects engine performance, the higher the octane value in the fuel, the better. From the description, the researcher examines this further by displaying data related to the use of oil mixture variations in engine performance (power, torque and fuel consumption).
This test uses three variations of oil mixture (Shell Advance SX, Mesrania 2T Sport, Ultraline Racing 2T) which is used on the Rx King 135cc motorbike with Shell Super fuel. In the viscosity test refers to ASTM D 2270 standard. The tool used is the NDJ 8S viscometer with temperature variations and rotor rotation. For testing torque and power using the Dynamometer tool based on SAE J1349 DEC 80 standard, while testing fuel consumption by conducting road tests at a distance of 5 km using the SAE J1082-200802 test standard.
The power test results for Shell Advance SX oil are 15.8 HP, for Mesrania 2T Sport oil is 16.32 HP, and for Ultraline Racing 2T oil is 13.66 HP. In testing the torque for Shell Advance SX oil is 15.51 HP, Mesrania 2T Sport oil is 14.29 HP, and Ultraline Racing 2T oil is 14.41 HP. From testing the best power and oil torque can be obtained at Mesrania 2T Sport oil because it is more developed at low or high RPM. in testing the most economical fuel consumption, the Shell Advance SX is 1.79 ml / s, because it has a large index viscosity so that the oil viscosity is more stable. So it can be concluded that low kinematic viscosity and large index viscosity will produce the best power and torque.
