Background: Incident of hypertension was increase in the worl. One of the hypertension treatment is medication adherence. Factors that realted to medication adherence are family support and knowledge level of hypertension. Objective: This research used correlation with cross sectional design to determine the relationship between family support and knowledge level with medication adherence in hypertension patiens at Puskesmas Bantul I. Research method: This research is correlation with cross sectional design. A sample used of 60 respondents with purposive sampling technique. . Correlation analysis using Spearman (rho). The instruments used MMAS-8, family support and knowledge level. Results: The results showed that there was a correlation between family support and medication adherence in hypertension patients with p=0,000 (<0,05) with moderate correlation (0,666). There was a correlation between knowledge level and medication adherence in hypertension patients with p=0,000 (<0,05) with moderate correlation (0,652). Conclusion: There is a relationship between family support and knowledge level with medication adherence in hypertension patients at Puskesmas Bantul I.
