HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM KELUARGA DENGAN PERILAKU BERAGAMA SISWA MTs PON PES AL IMAN MUNTILAN
Abstract
This research aims to: 1) find out the implementation of Islamic
Religious Education in the family, 2) find out the students’ religious behavior, and
3) find out if there is any correlation between Islamic Religious Education in
families and students’ religious behavior at MTs Pon Pes Al Iman Muntilan.
This is a quantitative research with the students of MTs Pon Pes Al Iman
Muntilan as the population. The data were collected through questionnaire,
interview, documentation and observation. The test was given to 30 respondents.
The instruments analysis includes validity test using product moment correlation
technique and reliability test using Cronbach’s Alpha. The questionnaire validity
test shows that from 30 independent variable questions about Islamic Religious
Education in families, there were 27 valid questions, and for the dependent
variable on students’ religious behavior, there were 21 valid questions out of 33.
Reliability test shows the reliability score (Cronbach’s Alpha) for Islamic
Religious Education variable in families is 0,934, while on students’ religious
behavior variable is 0m913 and are declared reliable. The pre-required analysis
tests used in this research were normality and linearity tests. The data was then
analyzed using product moment person descriptive and correlation.
The research result shows: 1) Islamic Religious Education in families is
generally in excellent category with the proportion of 96,29%. 2) The students’
religious behavior at MTs Pon Pes Al Iman Muntilan is generally in excellent
category with the proportion of 68,51%. 3) There is a positive and significant
correlation between Islamic Religious Education in families and students’
religious behavior at MTs Pon Pes Al Iman Muntilan proven by the coefficient
value of product moment correlation (rxy) that is 0,277 and sig. value of (2-tiled)
0,042<0,05.
