      Abstract
In the era of rapid development in the field of structure, concrete is still one of the choice of structural materials. Concrete is chosen because it has several advantages such as composite material that is easy to obtain and a relatively cheap price. High-rise buildings and bridges with long spans are one form of development in the field of structure where high strength concrete is needed to meet the needs of its structural materials. Used materials plus one of them is superplasticizer to facilitate concrete work and improve the quality of concrete. The purpose of this study was to find out the compressive strength of high quality concrete with variation of 0.8%, 1.0% and 1.5% superplasticizer added material at 7 days, 14 days and 28 days. The manufacture of specimens refers to the American Concrete Institute Method. The test object used is a cylinder 15 cm x 30 cm. The results showed that at the age of 7 days variation 1.5% had the highest average compressive strength of 48.56 MPa, at the age of 14 days variation of 1.0% had the highest average strength of 54.82 MPa and at the age of 28 day variation of 1.0% had the highest average compressive strength of 56.46 MPa.
