PENGOPTIMALISASIAN KINERJA INDUCED DRAFT FAN DENGAN MENGATUR BUKAAN INLET DAMPER DAN BUKAAN VARIABLE FLUID COUPLING DI PLTU SEBALANG
Abstract
PLTU Sebalang supplies 2x100 MW produced from two electricity generating units named Unit 1 and Unit 2. A total of 200 MW of electricity is supplied to assist electricity needs in Lampung Province. As a power plant that operates according to national and international standards must have a flue gas system. The exhaust gas system is the output of the process used to transfer gas to the pipeline process which can be assisted by some supporting equipment. One of the system supporting equipment is the exhaust gas. Induced Draft Fan (ID Fan) is a fan that sucks out the air from the flue gas from the boiler to the stack. ID Fan works to maintain the pressure on the boiler furnace and work in a low atmosphere because it is negative negative pressure. The amount of exhaust gas sucked by the ID Fan is regulated by the base percentage (open damper) of the damper installed in the position before the ID Fan (inlet), the larger the angle, the greater the volume of exhaust gas that is consumed by the ID Fan. The magnitude of the inlet damper opening by the Motor Operated Valve (MOV), while the speed of rotation of the ID Fan blade is displayed by Variable Fluid Coupling (VFC) which is connected directly with the ID Fan drive motor. The effect of ID Fan on the operation of the exhaust gas system is very vital, if the ID Fan does not work normally or can be said to be damaged, the process of transferring the flue gas to the stack cannot occur and the consequences will be very fatal for the operation of the boiler and the production of electrical energy. In this case all ID Fan operating data parameters can still work normally and still work according to standards, according to ID Fan and some of the motors that can be detected in optimal conditions
