PERAN PEREMPUAN DALAM RESOLUSI KONFLIK ROHINGYA DI MYANMAR
Abstract
A conflict is not a new thing for every country, both those
who are already independent and who are fighting for
their independence. However, the occurrence of this
conflict naturally caused losses to the State, including the
people in it. People often become victims of a conflict
that does not even involve themselves directly. However,
among these communities women are often the majority
victims in a conflict that occurs in a country.
In line with the above, this is what experienced by women
in conflict areas involving Rohingyas with ethnic
Burmese as the majority ethnic group in Myanmar. This
protracted conflict has gained a lot of attention from
various parties, both from within the country and
internationally. The many records of acts of violence
against women in the conflict naturally endanger women
in the area.
This thesis will analyze the role of women in conflicts
involving ethnic Rohingya with Burmese government or
ethnicity, both as a victim and as someone who acts as an
agent of change in the conflict using the 1325 United
Nations Security Council Resolution 2000. This research
was taken in 2012-2018 period using the library analysis
method.
