ANALISIS HIDROGRAF BANJIR DENGAN METODE NAKAYASU DAN ITB DI SUNGAI PROGO HULU
Abstract
Estimating flood hydrograph is the main analysis for river constructions design. Synthetic unit hydrograph (SUH) method is a tool in a design flood discharge analysis when there is no dischrage series data in a long time. In fact, the SUH method does not always provide proper results. In this research, flood hydrograph analysis using Nakayasu and ITB methods are applied on the upper Progo River basin. Daily rainfall in January 2012 is used in this research and divided into 3 conditions, namely Condition 1 dated 1-7 January, Condition 2 dated 8-13 January, and Condition 3 dated 20-26 January. The streamflow data from Borobudur AWLR station is applied for model calibration. Modifications in the equation are done to get the appropriate parameters. The results showed that most of the discharge values from the analysis using the Nakayasu Method were greater than the observed data. On the other hand, it’s smaller when using the ITB Method. From the modification processes, the α parameter values of the Nakayasu Method is 10, the power of Qa equation = 4.8, constant of T0.3 in Qd1 equation is 0.25, and the constant of TL in TP equation of ITB Method is 1.
