ANALISIS KINERJA MESIN PENCACAH SAMPAH BOTOL PLASTIK BERPENGGERAK MOTOR LISTRIK DENGAN DAYA 2 HP
Abstract
Various environmental problems in people's lives will always emerge along with the times. The problems that often become a polemic in people's lives are the problem of plastic waste, especially plastic bottle waste. Garbage is now very possible to be recycled again. One way to help the recycling process is to make a plastic bottle trash machine, it is expected to be able to improve the work efficiency of the machine. The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of plastic bottle waste counting machines with electric motor drives.
In this study the driver uses 2 HP power, this machine is made smaller in size than the product on the market, and the test material is a plastic bottle with a thickness of 0.1 mm. Then the calculation of engine capacity, depreciation of counts, electrical energy, production cost advantages, comparison of efficiency of electric motor drive compared to gasoline motor, blade pulley rotation, and linear v-belt speed.
The results of this research can be used to count 27.93 kg / hour of plastic bottles. Comparison of the efficiency of the use of this machine compared to gasoline motor is 2.6: 1. So it can be concluded that the plastic bottle trash machine has an electric motor that is superior to the gasoline motor. The way of maintenance on this machine is quite easy, just need to check if there are signs of a burning cable and check on the bearing because the drive uses an electric motor. Whereas the blade only needs to maintain and pay attention to the sharpness of the blade and the fastening bolt.
