MANAJEMEN PRODUKSI PROGRAM ACARA PANGKUR JENGGLENG DI TVRI STASIUN D.I. YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
As a television company which engages in broadcasting, TVRI has vision, mission, and target audience which influence the programs. TVRI Yogyakarta Station is a local-based TV station with several prime products. Based on the previous survey, it is known that Pangkur Jenggleng was a prime product of TVRI Yogyakarta Special Region Station. The research used qualitative method with descriptive approach. The research object was program production management of Pangkur Jenggleng program produced by TVRI Yogyakarta Special Region Station. The research subjects were five crews of TVRI Yogyakarta Special Region Station who were decided through purposive method. The data collecting techniques were in depth interview and documentation. The research result described the application of program production process steps in the production of Pangkur Jenggleng program as a way to produce a qualified comedy entertainment product. Pangkur Jenggleng applied three steps: (1) pre-production, in which ideas became the main thing, contacting the artists, contacting gamelan (Javanese Musical Instrument) personels, studying the script, setting the studio, practicing, and rehearsing (2) production, Pangkur Jenggleng was not significant during production since the shooting list was not found, (3) post-production, Pangkur Jenggleng conducted two models; editing and evaluating and non-editing, and evaluating
