THE U.S. POLICY ON OBAMA-PUTIN MEETING CANCELLATION IN MOSCOW IN 2013
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to identify the factors
which influenced the U.S. in making a decision to cancel
the one-on-one meeting between Obama and Putin in
2013. It is considered as a common knowledge that the
U.S. and Russia are hardly getting along ever since the
Cold War. Thus, this issue is very interesting to discuss
since the meeting was supposedly aimed to discuss about
the relations between U.S. and Russia. The researcher
will try to identify the underlying factors with the theory
of Decision-Making Process by Richard C. Snyder.
