This research aims to understand the level of technology implementation for preparing the tuber that will be created to be onion seed which done by responden farmers in Samiran and factors that affecting farmer to level of storaging implementation onion tuber as seed. Research location determined by simple random sampling method based on farmers who cultivate onion and Research location selected by purposive sampling method, with number of research respondents is 50 respondent farmers. Data result use questionnaire via interview of respondent farmers and observative and also descriptive analysation. The research result is explained that in onion seed red there are various factors that influence the success of storing seed tubers in terms of both storage and handling readiness when the seeds enter the storage stage, such as room temperature regulation, application of agricultural medicines etc. So that the accuracy in takin action in tubers is a barometer of the success of preparing onion seeds. The level of application of onion seed storage technology in Samiran, Parangtritis Village, Kretek District, Bantul Regency is included in the "Medium" category.
