| dc.description | Da'wah is an activity for a Muslim to spread out the teachings of Islam by calling
on goodness according to the Qur'an and the Sunnah. In the contemporary world
as today, da'wah media is increasingly varied, one of which is digital da'wah
using information technology.Now you can easily find the da'wah content on
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, personal blogs, websites, and so on. Both personal
and organizational preachers have used these tools to disseminate their da'wah
messages. The organization of Muhammadiyah also complements its missionary
infrastructure with social media, including instragram, with @lensamu account.
One of the contents in your list is a upload of KH Ahmad Dahlan's photos and
thoughts, which actually emit certain meanings.The research aims to find out what
the meaning of uploading photos and thought texts of KH Ahmad Dahlan in your
license account. The research method used was descriptive-qualitative with the
support of Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory. Primary data in the form of
photos and text as well as secondary data from informants were collected by
documentation and interviews. Data is analyzed semiotically, with the flow model
by Miles & Huberman.The results of the study show that iconically KH Ahmad
Dahlan's photo is a mental representation associated with the Persyarakitan
Muhammadiyah. Another iconic meaning is indicated by the Muhammadiyah
logo which is an organizational legal identity and property. While the symbols of
social accounts reflect the Muhammadiyah in the Millennial Style which is
digitally illiterate. The meaning of indexis found is turban and KH Ahmad
Dahlan's glasses as a representation of his substantive way of thinking. Last is the
symbolic meaning shown through his thought texts which represent the man of
action, the preaching of the matter, defines itself as a formalist and at the same
