      Abstract
      Sa lted fish home industry follow up to handle fishery products that are expected to contribute to fishermen's households. The research aimed to analyze the cost, income and contribution of salted fish home industry to the total income of fishermen households in Teluk Penyu Beach, Cilacap District. The sample in this research is fisherman family who do fishing and make salted fish production with 50 people which are then divided into 2 groups based on the amount of initial capital.The results showed that the average costs incurred for the salted fish home industry amounted to Rp. 12.229.422 for capital ≤5.000.000 and Rp. 13.932.096 for capital >5000.000 with an income of Rp. 4.018.753 for capital ≤5.000.000 and Rp. 4.444.292 for capital >5000.000. The contribution of salted fish home industry is high were 51,05% for capital ≤5.000.000 and 57,67% for capital >5000,000.
