ANALISIS SISTEM KENDALI PROTOTIPE KAPAL PENUMPANG DENGAN PENGENDALI REMOTE CONTROL ( RC )
Abstract
Indonesia is a country whose majority of its territory is water, and thus a ship prototype using remote control (RC) was made. Therefore, a research on how the ship prototype works and its maneuvering speed were conducted.
The research was conducted using rope, stopwatch, and ruler arc. Using those tools, a result on the ship’s velocity when maneuvering on preset angle can be obtained.
The research result tested on the ship prototype using remote control (RC) indicated that the highest maneuvering speed obtained was on 900 in as much as 0,406 m/s and the lowest maneuvering speed obtained was on 1800 in as much as 0,376 m/s. As referring to these results, it can be concluded that the smaller the maneuvering angle is, the higher the maneuvering speed of the ship is; and the wider the maneuvering angle is, the lower the maneuvering speed of the ship is.
