STRATEGI PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PENDIDIKAN DI TK LEDOK TUKANGAN YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
This study aims to find out the strategies to improve the quality of education and to find out the obstacles encountered and find solutions to overcome these obstacles in TK (Kindergarten) Ledok Tukangan. This type of research is field research. The method used is descriptive qualitative research using data collection techniques with observations, interviews, and documentation.
The results of this study are that the TK Ledok Tukangan has good strategies in improving the quality of education. This is evidenced by planned learning by making the Annual Program and its series, organizing matters relating to school policies and activities. In the implementation, the headmaster takes part in each activity and monitors the performance of educators as well as the development of students. In evaluating the students of TK Ledok Tukangan, a scoring system is used in accordance with Curriculum 13 also with educator evaluation. Based on the implementation, obstacles are found. However, educators have overcome them by understanding the characteristics and having good relationships in communicating with the students so that it is easy to get solutions and educate students well.
