PERBANDINGAN PRE-EKLAMPSIA PADA IBU HAMIL DENGAN RIWAYAT HIPERTENSI DAN TANPA RIWAYAT HIPERTENSI TERHADAP KEADAAN BAYI LAHIR
Abstract
Background: Preeclampsia is major cause of maternal mortality in developed and
developing countries. It is also a major cause of perinatal morbidity and mortality. Perinatal
outcome is influenced by history of hypertension in pregnancies.
Objective: To compare superimposed preeclampsia and genuine preeclampsia with perinatal
outcomes.
Methods: Retrospective observational analytic with cross sectional method. The sample are
pregnant women who diagnosed preeclampsia in PKU Muhammadiyah Temanggung
hospital. 91 cases are collected based on medical record. The data were analyzed by Chi-
Square test with the significance of p<0,05.
Result: There was a correlation between superimposed preeclampsia and genuine
preeclampsia with perinatal outcomes in PKU Muhammadiyah Temanggung hospital
(p=0,000).
Conclusion: women with superimposed preeclampsia have a higher risk of adverse perinatal
outcomes than genuine preeclampsia.
