PERBANDINGAN GAMBARAN HISTOLOGI KORNEA Rattus norvegicus YANG DIINHALASI OBAT NYAMUK SPRAY DAN OBAT NYAMUK ONE PUSH
Abstract
This study aims to compare the histological picture of anterior epithelium, total corneal
thickness and the number of corneal keratocyte which was inhaled by spray and one push anti
mosquito. The design of this study was post test only control group design.
Subjects of this study were 30 male Rattus norvegicus, divided into five groups, control
in group K, treatment group P1 inhaled one push anti mosquito for 5 minutes/day, treatment
group P2 for 10 minutes/day, treatment group P3 was sprayed with mosquito repellent for 5
minutes/day, treatment group P4 for 10 minutes/day. Provision was done for 60 days.
The variables measured included the thickness of the anterior epithelium (µm), the total
thickness of the cornea (µm), and the number of keratocytes. The Kruskal-Wallis statistical test
results in the anterior epithelium showed there were no significant differences between the five
groups tested (p=0.203). One Way Anova statistical test results on total corneal thickness
showed (p=0.813) which showed insignificant results. The results for the variable number of
keratocyte cells tested using the One Way Anova test showed there were significance
differences of the number of keratocytes from the 5 groups compared (p=0.037). The Duncan
statistical test showing that the P2 group has the smallest value=12,133, while group K has a
value=18,400. Concluded that the use of spray and one push anti mosquito does not affect
the thickness of the anterior epithelium of the cornea and the total thickness of the cornea, but
it affects the number of keratocyte cells
