| dc.description | Latar Belakang: Merokok sampai saat ini masih menjadi masalah Nasional yang perlu secara terus-menerus diupayakan penanggulangannya. Seiring dengan hal tersebut hasil riset kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2010 memperlihatkan prevalensi perokok di Indonesia sebesar 34,7% dari 237,641,326 penduduk di Indonesia dan 1,7% dari perokok mulai merokok saat berumur 5-9 tahun sedangkan 43,3% merokok sejak usia remaja yaitu 15-25 tahun. Pervalensi perilaku merokok remaja saat ini dan rata-rata batang rokok yang dihisap oleh remaja di Provinsi di Yogyakarta, yaitu sebanyak 31,6 %. Banyaknya remaja yang merokok salah satu pendorongnya adalah dari pola asuh orang tua mereka yang kurang baik. Orang tua adalah contoh dan model bagi remaja, namun bagi orang tua yang kurang tahu tentang kesehatan secara tidak langsung mereka telah mengajarkan perilaku atau pola hidup yang kurang sehat.
Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status merokok orang tua terhadap perilaku merokok mahasiswa pria Teknik Sipil Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengukuran status merokok orang tua dan perilaku merokok menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik sampling menggunakan Consecutive Sampling dengan jumlah responden 70 orang. Analisa data menggunakan Spearman Rho.
Hasil Penelitian: Sebanyak 51 responden (72,9%) memiliki orang tua yang merokok dan sebanyak 34 responden (48,6%) mempunyai perilaku merokok dengan kategori kuat. Terdapat hubungan antara status merokok orang tua terhadap perilaku merokok mahasiswa (p= 0,035).
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan status merokok orang tua terhadap perilaku merokok mahasiswa pria Teknik Sipil Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menyarankan untuk peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat mengembangkan penelitian terkait factor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku merokok pada remaja | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Background: Smoking is still be a national problem that needs to be continuously strived to overcome . Along with the Indonesian health research results in 2010 showed the prevalence of smokers in Indonesia amounted to 34.7 % of the 237,641,326 people in Indonesia and 1.7 % of smokers start smoking at the age of 5-9 years, while 43.3 % smoked since adolescence is 15-25 years . Smoking behavior prevalence of today's youth and the average of cigarettes smoked by teenagers in the province of Yogyakarta province which is about 31.6 % . The number of teenagers who smoke one was the issue of parenting their parents are poor .
