Background: Alternative and complementary treatments that are most widely used for treatment are cupping therapy (Hijamah). Cupping is a treatment of Thibbun Nabawi (Prophet's treatment method), this method of treatment is applied and included in alternative medicine so that the use of highly increased cupping is very popular in the world. someone uses cupping therapy to improve health, such as removing dirty blood to eliminate disease. Cupping treatment is carried out using materials that do not contain chemical compounds so that they have no side effects, are practical and affordable, the costs are relatively cheaper and this treatment works well. Although cupping therapy treatments have been widely practiced, there are still some people who do not know about cupping therapy and provide a variety of different attitudes. Research Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the levels of knowledge and attitude of Nursingstudents to cupping (hijamah) therapy. Research Method: This type of research is descriptive quantitative non-experimental. The subject of this study were 85 Nursing students in the 2018/2019 academic year (class of 2015) University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques are carried out using ordinal scale questionnaires. The analysis technique used is univariate. Results: The results showed that respondents were dominated by female respondents aged 21 years old, the results of this study show the level of knowledge and attitudes of students towards cupping therapy (hijamah)at the level of moderate and sufficient category
