ANALISIS CBR TANAH CLAYSHALE AKIBAT PENAMBAHAN SEMEN
Abstract
Clayshale is one of the soil that has strength and durability problems when
its exposed to a wetting-drying cycle. One of the special treatments is stabilization
using chemicals material for exemple cement. This study aims to compare of
sweliing potential, CBR values, mixing method, of clayshale with and without
cement stabilization and variationof blows. This test were used 10% cement
content and mixing with dry and spray method. The specimens compacted using
10, 25, 56 blows per layer. The result show that cement stabilized clayshale
decreased the swelling value significantly with average 9,6%. The result show
that cement stabilized clayshale increased the CBR value significantly with
average 27,60%. The Value of CBR dry mixed method is higher with average 5,5
% than the spray mixed method. The result also show that number of blows
increased the CBR value significantly with average 1,41% for 0% cement and
10% cement increased with average 9,95%.
