      Abstract
Construction of road pavement in expansive soil will causes problems if its not given a special reinforcement treatment. Uneven deformation of ground and heave problem will causes the damage on structures and decreasing the pavement design life. To anticipate the problems is using a model of concrete plate with pile reinforcement system. Therefore, validation by using the numeric approach of the finite element method is needed on the system to get more specific and proper parameters of physical laboratory model. To analyze and modeling structure in this study was using SAP 2000 program. The structure modeled on the program accordance the physical model laboratory which the dimention of the plates are 70 cm length, 30 cm wide and 2 cm thick. Each plates was supported by the group of pile with 4 cm diameter and length variations of pile are 10 cm and 20 cm. Plates structure modeling simulation using the value of modulus of subgrade reaction (k) whereas the pile using the value of kv,kh,kt. The result of trial model using the variations of kv with 1,6 klaboratory on dry condition and 10 klaboratory on wet condition are closest to the physical model. Based on the simulation it was obtained the deflection values are influenced by loading, length of pile, k values and soil conditions. Enhance the length of pile and increasing the value of k will reduce the deflection and increase the rigidity of the structures
