POTENSI KECELAKAAN KERJA PADA PROYEK JEMBATAN RANGKA BAJA
Abstract
Indonesia has a high level of work accidents due to various accident cases
that occur in construction projects because this activity causes many work
accident. A bridge is a construction building that its functions is to connect two
part of a road that is cut off due to obstacles such as a deep chasm, river flow
irrigation and so on. The purpose of this study is to examine the potential for
workplace accidents in steel bridge projects. The method used in this study is a
qualitative method based on government regulation PU no. 05 of 2014 concerning
guidelines for occupational safety and health management systems (system
manajemen keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja/SMK3) construction in the field of
public works. The results of the study of potential work accidents are 8 jobs with
29 activities and 128 occurrences of risk of workplace accidents in the
construction work of the Ngadiluwih Kediri steel frame bridge. Types of work
accidents include health problems, accidents due to conditions, misused tools by
workers, heavy equipment that is not operated by skilled/experts, accidents due to

with hearing, accidents due to unstandardized protective equipment, falling or
slipping during reinforcement and rolling, accidents or being injured by heavy
equipment because unexpert operator, exposed to sparks during welding, sparks
when burning asphalt and accidentally injuring each other. The overall rating of
accidents risks in the Ngadiluwih Kediri steel bridge project is 2.65 which is
categorized as "Low Risk". The highest of potential work accident is soil erection
in structural work on scale 3,7 which is categorized as “Low Risk” and welding
activities in steel frame preparation work on scale 3,75 which is categorized as
“Low Risk”.
