PREDIKSI KETIDAK LULUSAN UKMPPD MENGGUNAKAN MCQ DENGAN STANDARD SETTING SEM PADA MAHASISWA BORDERLINE
Abstract
Background and aims: As a step in structuring medical practices that exist in
Indonesia as stated in Law No.29 of 2004 concerning Medical Practice, several
committees form the Student Professional Competency Test Program for Doctors
(UKMPPD). The form of questions for competency testing in UKMPPD and
USMLE one of them uses Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) which is used because
it is more practical and also saves time but can produce objective testing that can
measure knowledge, understanding, application and analysis.
Methods: this study used an observational analytic method with a case study
approach. The study used secondary data consisting of the UKMPPD exam
results for the period August 2015-November 2017 obtained from the server
admin of UMY Doctor's Professional Study Program and the MCQ results from
class of 2009, 2010, and 2011 obtained from the server admin of UMY Medical
Undergraduate Study Program.
Results: Students who did not graduate on the first / first taker occasion of
UKMPPD had a tendency to get MCQ scores during the lecture period namely
graduating 10 times / 43.5% from 23 blocks, getting borderline 5 times / 21.9%
from 23 blocks, and getting failed / failed 8 times / 34.6% of 23 blocks.
Conclusion: MCQ scores during the lecture / preclinical period can be a
predictor for determining borderline student graduation at UKMPPD.
