HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN MENGENAI PRAKTIKUM ANATOMI DENGAN ADAB MAHASISWA KEPADA KADAVER DI FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN DAN ILMU KESEHATAN UMY
Abstract
Background and Objectives : Cadaver is a body that has been preserved and used for practical learning of anatomy for medical student. The purpose of using cadaver is to provide more detailed knowledge by doing practicum. Cadaver essentialy has the right to be respected as the body of a deceased person. Thus students must have good adab on cadaver as prescribed by norms and also religious knowledge. This study aims to determine the relationship between student knowledge about anatomy practicum with student adab to cadaver at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta.
Method : This research is a quantitative method with a cross sectional observational analytic study design. The data used is primary data that obtained through Student Knowledge about Practical Anatomy questionnaire and Student’s Adab to Kadaver questionnaire given to students of Medical Education Program of FKIK UMY.
Results : Knowledge of FKIK UMY students regarding anatomy practicum is moderate, but there are several regulations that are not widely disseminated so that students do not know the rules. Then for the student adab indicator to cadaver also showed moderate. But there are some rules that should be done, but ignored by students because of several factors. Adab which must be considered is for example giving greetings when entering the anatomy laboratory and praying for cadaveric spirits.
Conclusion : There was no significant relationship between knowledge and student’s adab to cadaver
