Abstract
Background: Low Birth Weight (LBW) on born baby become one of the causes of
the infant death in Indonesia. Low Birth Weight have risk to had a complications,

Januari 2018 untul Desember 2018. The sampling technique that used was
purposive total sampling. This research used secondary data from the medical
records to gets the data that we needed and the correlation analysis with Chi
Square test is formed.
Result: There was a significant relationship (p<0,05) eith the incidence of Low
Birth Weight, there are Antenatal Care (ANC) with p = 0,000, gestasional age
with p = 0,001, mother education with p = 0,024 and maternal parity with p =
0,003. Obtained closeness values from the risk factors that had a relationship,
there are Antenatal Care (ANC) with r = 0,363, gestasional age with r = 0,290,
mother educationwith r = 0,240 and maternal parity with r = ,233. There are also
those risk factor that not had a significant correlation (p>0,05) with the incidence
of Low Birthh Weight (LBW), there are the age of the mother with p = 0,629 and
family social-economics with p = 0,952. Based on the research results, it was
founde that Antenatal Care (ANC) was the most related factor to the incidence of
the Low Birth Weight with a weak closeness value (r = 0,363).
Conclutions: Antenatal Care (ANC), gestasional age, mother education and
maternal parity have a significant relationship to the incidence of the Low Birth
Weight (LBW) and Antenatal Care (ANC) was the closest relationship, while the
mother age and the family social-economics have no significant relationship ti the
incidence of Low Birth Weight (LBW).
