MOTIVASI PETANI MENJUAL BIJI KAKAO DALAM BENTUK BASAH DI DESA BANJAROYA KECAMATAN KALIBAWANG
Abstract
This study aims to identify the motivation of farmers and the factors that influence the motivation of farmers to sell cocoa beans in the wet form. Data collection was carried out on 60 sample respondents with purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews, and observations were then analyzed in the description. The results of the study stated that technical motivation was in the high category, economic and social motivation was in the medium category. High technical motivation because there is no Labor In the Family, no equipment, fermentation takes a long time, high quality standards and equipment for fermentation is expensive. Factors that influence the motivation of farmers to sell cocoa beans in the wet form are capital, production and price.
