KONTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN PENGRAJIN EMPING MELINJO TERHADAP PENDAPATAN KELUARGA DI DESA TIRTONIRMOLO KECAMATAN KASIHAN KABUPATEN BANTUL
Abstract
The industry of melinjo chips was a household scale industry that provided opportunities for the community to help the family needed specifically for housewives in Tirtonirmolo Village. The existence of these jobs provided an opportunity for the housewives in increasing family income. There were five kinds of the craftsmen in Tirtonirmolo village. Those were craftsmen owners, craftsmen owners and workers, craftsmen owners and laborers, laborers, and workers who were took by sensus as many as 20 craftsmen. This research aimed to analyze the costs, income, and profits of the melinjo chips industry and analyzed the contribution of craftsmen's income. The result of this research indicated that the costs incurred by the biggest of craftsmen melinjo chips was laborer with a value of Rp 2,389,426 and the lowest was the owner with a value Rp. 499,190. Furthermore, the highest income was the laborers which consisted of Rp.1,578,658 and the lowest income was the owner craftsmen which consisted of Rp.181,469. Besides, the laborers were craftsmen who got the biggest profits in every week which consisted of Rp 1.574.637, and the lowest profit was Rp. 20,746. The contributions income of the owner-craftsmen, owner-craftsmen and laborer were 13% and 19% respectively. Meanwhile, the owners, laborers and craftsmen laborers included in moderate contributions. It was because each contribution was 40% and 27%. The biggest contribution was the laborers, which consisted of 58%. It was because the contribution was more than 50%.
