EVALUASI TERAPI PENGGUNAAN ANTIRETROVIRAL PADA PASIEN HIV DI RUMAH SAKIT PKU MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA PERIODE JANUARI – DESEMBER 2014
Abstract
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a group of viruses known as retroviruses that can damage the human immune system. The HIV/AIDS infection is one of the health problems that become priority of the world to promptly resolved. Improper use of medications can cause the onset of drug reactions is not desirable, aggravating the illness until death as well as the costs of an increasingly expensive. This research aims to know the description of HIV therapy and evaluation based on right drug selection, right indications, right dose, right interval time of giving in PKU hospital Yogyakarta from January – December 2014, based on National guidelines on Pedoman Nasional Tatalaksana Klinis Infeksi HIV/AIDS dan Terapi Antiretroviral Kementrian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia tahun 2011.
This research is a descriptive research in the form of a non-experimental design using cross-sectional. Data retrieval was done in a retrospective on September – October 2016 in total sampling. This research included as many as 18 patients from the medical record to get HIV treatment evaluation for further analyzed the appropriateness of their use, based on proper category is the right indication, right drug, right dose selection, and proper time interval the grant.
The results showed that 9 patients (69.2%) get a combination of antiretroviral therapy lamivudin + zidovudine + nevirapine, 3 patients (23.1%) get a combination therapy of efavirenz + tenofovir + lamivudine, 1 (7.7%) patients getting the combination therapy of efavirenz + duviral. Evaluation of HIV treatment in patients indicate the precise indications (84,61%), just the selection of drugs (100%), the right dosage (76,92%).
