PERBANDINGAN ANGKA KEJADIAN LESI PRE-KANKER ANTARA KELOMPOK PARITAS MULTIPARA DAN GRANDEMULTIPARA DI DAERAH IMOGIRI KABUPATEN BANTUL YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Background and aims: Cervical cancer is an malignancy that attacks the cervix and always begins with a precancerous lesion that is asymptomatic but if left in a few years it can be an invasion of cancer, the current situation in Indonesia many indonesian people assume have many children are a lot of fortune but with high frequent birth a mother resulting in frequent injuries and hormonal changes during pregnancy which can be a predipotition factor for HPV infection.
Methods: This study used an observational analytic design, with a Cross Sectional approach, using secondary data medical records from IVA test results in the Yogyakarta imogiri health center in 2017.
Results: From all data which amounted to 87, it can be seen that the results of the IVA negative test were 71 respondents and the IVA results were positive is 16 respondents. Of the 16 respondents with positive IVA 13 of them belonged to the multipara group (giving birth more than once) and three respondents from the grandemultipara group (giving birth more than 4 times) were 4 respondents. The results of the chi square test calculated were 2,791. While the results of chi square table get 3.841.
Conclusion: There is no relationship between the amount of parity and the incidence of cervical cancer in the Imogiri area of Bantul Regency. Or there is no difference in the incidence of cervical cancer when viewed from the number of parity.
