PEMODELAN UNCONVENTIONAL INTERSECTION BERBENTUK PARTIAL CLOVERLEAF DENGAN SOFTWARE PTV.VISSIM
Abstract
Population growth in Yogyakarta resulted in an increase in the use of transportation modes at Kentungan Intersection, in these conditions it needed evaluations to avoid congestion that often occurs at peak hours with selected of the appropriate intersection is non-purview intersection, it is a road that meets when one of the sections is above or below the road there are unconventional intersection is intersection which are not public in shape form others forms used in Indonesia and conventional intersection is intersection that’s generally used in Indonesia are underpass and flyover. The goals of the researchs are to use a type of unconventional intersection are minimize incident rates, reduce congestion, and efficiency of traffic performance. This researchs method are to model 3 conditions using the PTV. VISSIM 9 software are existing modeling, default, and modification. The results of the 3 modeling obtained values of delay, queu length, and Level of Service (LOS) in the existing modeling obtained LOS F ( very bad) of 104,79 seconds, the default modeling obtained LOS E (bad) of 68,48 seconds, the modification modeling obtained LOS D ( sufficient) of 54,97 seconds. So the best modeling with the smallest delay velue is modification modeling
