EVALUASI INFRASTRUKTUR DAN SEMPADAN SUNGAI PADA WILAYAH RENTAN TERDAMPAK BANJIR LAHAR DINGIN PADA DAS (DAERAH ALIRAN SUNGAI) KALI PUTIH
Abstract
Putih River is one of the rivers in Magelang, Central Java which was affected by lahar/debris flow after the eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010. The impact of the damage included riparian areas and infrastructures that built along the river. This research objective is to evaluate the accordance of the condition of riparian area in the Putih river basin with the established rules. Furthermore, an evaluation of infrastructures in the river was also carried out. The research was carried out by field survey that supported by application named Survey123 for ArcGIS and data processing using ArcGIS software. The results of the study show that there are several locations are not in accordance with the established rules. One of the villages that is often found to be incompatible with regulations is Jumoyo Village which has some habitations that goes into the riparian area of 2.1 Ha for riparian area with 5 m width and 10 Ha for riparian area with 50 m width. The research also found that Jumoyo Village had the highest number of population estimated in the riparian area with 656 people for riparian area with 5 m width and 1465 people for riparian area with 50 m width. From the field survey result, the river had 35 buildings in Kali Putih consisting of 2 dams, 11 bridges, 1 groundsill, 20 sabo dams, and 1 sand pocket. In general, the conditions of infrastructures in Putih River are quite good and there are no substantial damage.
